Today on the way to Nájera we came upon a hut shaped like a helmet. Galicia Stone Huts, Spainish villagers lived in these stone huts, called pallozas, until as recently as the 1960s.
Nájera was a welcome sight after 20k of mostly boring countryside and industrial enterprises. The goats nibbled on us a bit. This is where we lost a few ‘family’ members. Wishing Ian and Robin safe travels! If I walk fast enough I may catch up with them!
