It was a hot day, overcast and humid. The arrows took us from the train station to the walled city of Valença. Winding around the walls to the river we encountered a few other pilgrims.
Tui is an unremarkable town, cute historic section with typical stone structures surrounding the church. A few pilgrims we already looking for accommodations to get out of the heat.
We met 4 ladies from Ireland just before we came upon a small roadside cafe, which the 6 of us stopped to enjoy. a couple of bears and a fresh tomato tapas hit the spot!
Our destination for the day was in O Porriño in a somewhat tacky and run down hotel, Hotel International is not one I would recommend.
